Zinc Ribbon

Zinc-band anodes come in continuous ribbon form with a steel core and can be used in soil, Marine and fresh water. Zinc-band anodes offer a very simple, cost-effective, maintenance-free corrosion control method. Zinc-band anodes are not recommended in pH values greater than 8 or in temperatures greater than 120 degrees Fahrenheit, in which case a reversal occurs and zinc becomes a cathode instead of an anode.
